Age Concern Lewisham and Southwark is an independent charity, not to be confused with the "umbrella" organisation Age Concern England.

Age Concern Lewisham’s main activities include an Information and Advice Service, Handy Persons service, Intermediate Care Befriending, Long Term Befriending service and Trading services.

Age Concern Southwark's main activities include 5 day centre programmes for older people, Community Care Support Service, Homecare Service, Macmillan Palliative Care Service, Trading Services, Partnerships for Older Peoples Services (POPPs) and a BME Information and Advice service.

Age Concern Lewisham and Southwark also campaign on issues that affect older people, such as age discrimination, transport, housing and many other important areas.
